Funding references need dates. A rate copied from an old document can look plausible while belonging to an earlier period. The official Schedule of Subsidies and Supplements includes a schedule effective 1 October 2026; the PDF identifies itself as version 3. My Aged Care provides an accessible explanation of ongoing classifications and separate short-term pathways. Use that explanation alongside the applicable schedule and the participant’s own official funding information. Separate a funding reference from an available balance
For an internal budget review, record the classification, relevant dates, source of the allocation and when the balance was checked. A published subsidy rate is not proof of a participant’s current spendable balance. Planned services, completed services and unresolved adjustments should remain distinguishable.
This article deliberately does not reproduce a table of amounts. Opening the current official schedule reduces the risk that a copied number continues circulating after an update. If two official displays conflict, resolve the difference before using the figure.

How Genoveva could help
Genoveva could help teams organise dated funding references and distinguish planned commitments from recorded spending. Its planned budgeting approach could make the age and source of a balance visible. A local forecast would not be a live government balance unless a separately verified connection supports that claim.
